About Roxy
Roxy, now going by Phoebe, is a 7-year-old beagle/cooonhound mix who weighs about 40 pounds and lives for companionship. She's mellow, deeply loyal, and attaches quickly—if you want a shadow following you from room to room, Phoebe is that dog. She thrives when she’s close to her person and wants nothing more than to be by your side as much as possible. While some might call it clingy, this dog just loves hard and gives her whole heart. Phoebe gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. She’s house trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, and walks on a leash with no trouble. She's a classic beagle in some ways—occasionally vocal and motivated by food. Resource guarding with meals can happen, but she’s responsive to structure and correction, especially when her routine is clear. Phoebe would do fine as an only dog or in a home with other dogs, provided she still receives plenty of individual attention. Her devotion was misunderstood in her previous placement, but if you're searching for a true companion who wants to share every part of your day, Phoebe is ready. Fun fact: born December 19, she’s a Sagittarius—no surprise she’s loyal, adventurous, and affectionate. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
