About Hunter
Meet Hunter! Hunter is a spirited Beagle mix with energy to spare and a strong desire to connect with his person. He loves tearing around the yard after toys, and he’s picking up manners fast—he’ll sit, pause, and make steady eye contact before meals. Potty training is nearly complete; he’ll ring bells to alert you when it’s time to go out. Hunter is happy to rest quietly when left alone, sleeps comfortably through the night without needing a crate, and loves a good cuddle session in the quiet back-and-forth of one-on-one time. Hunter greets new people warmly and isn’t shy around strangers, but he’s still working on toning down his enthusiasm—sometimes leaping up or nipping playfully. Because of this, he’ll do best in a home without toddlers. Sudden loud noises can startle him, but he bounces back quickly and leans into his brave and loving temperament. Hunter tends to play too rough with other dogs and should be the only dog in the home. He does get along with cats. If you’re searching for a sweet, eager companion who will grow alongside your family, Hunter is absolutely worth meeting. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
