About Joey
Joey lives up to his name—he’s a small, leggy whippet/chihuahua mix with plenty of bounce. At roughly 4 years old, he has the zest and energy of a much younger dog. Joey is friendly to everyone he meets and thrives on human attention, always seeking a connection and greeting people with enthusiastic tail wags. After spending time on the streets, he’s eager to learn home manners and improve his potty skills, and he’s picking things up very quickly. House trained and outgoing, Joey’s the type who’ll make you smile when you walk through the door. He needs a home with other dogs to play with and people willing to match his energy and meet his need for activity—he’d make a great companion for someone who enjoys exercise. Joey does best with older kids and isn’t compatible with cats. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for the next chapter with his forever family. Your new best friend is just one click away.
