Huey was surrender by a hunt club and after living his life outside is ready to join a family. Will it be yours? Huey is a young, playful, lovable beagle who loves food, sitting next to you and being petted, and going for walks. He likes other dogs but is a little timid and shy with people. After not quite 2 weeks, he is still getting comfortable being a pet, but he does likes company (both people and dogs) and would do better with another dog in the house. He is learning to walk on a leash and enjoys his walks and follows his foster siblings. Housebreaking has been a little harder with the horrible weather we have had and is a work in progress. We feed him in a crate but have not left him in it longer. He is 5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and negative for heartworms.
