About River
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. River is a 2.5-year-old, large mixed-breed Great Pyrenees who weighs 70 lbs and is fully vetted. This friendly and playful boy is the proud father of several pups who have already found their homes—and now he’s looking for a family of his own. River adores making friends, whether with children or other dogs, and his happy personality truly shines when he’s romping and playing. A home with a fenced-in yard would be ideal for him, giving him plenty of space to run and play. Despite not having experienced a solid family before, River is an intelligent dog who is picking up basic commands quickly. He already knows how to sit, is fully potty trained, and thrives on praise (and treats for a job well done!). River comes fully vetted, though he does need to complete his heartworm treatment at a specific vet in Chester, NJ. He’s seeking either a foster or forever family who can help him through this phase. Your new best friend is just one click away.
