I’m Rosie, about two years young, and my journey has been anything but ordinary. I started out as a stray in Gentilly, fought through a serious case of pneumonia, and came out the other side stronger, healthier, and absolutely thriving. Now I’m on top of the world and ready to find my forever family. I’ve been through training and truly loved it — I’m eager to please, quick to learn, and highly food-motivated (treats are my love language). I know my basics like sit, stay, down, touch, and heel. I’m kennel trained, trained for loose-leash walking, have great recall, and focus beautifully even when there are tempting distractions around. I’m dog-friendly and do especially well ignoring “little creatures” — I can be easily redirected and don’t react to them, which makes walks and outings a breeze. One important (and adorable) thing to know about me: I smile. A lot. I’ve got a very toothy grin that sometimes surprises people, but don’t worry — it’s not aggression. It’s just my happy face shining through. If you’re looking for an energetic partner for runs, hikes, or adventures, I’m your girl. If you’re more into couch snuggles, I do that with just as much enthusiasm. I love playing ball, chewing on my Nylabone, and yes… I take my stuffy-destroying duties very seriously.
