Stanley's estimated birthdate: June 13, 2025 One of our dedicated volunteers was getting ready to head out to lunch when he found this sweet Rottweiler puppy wandering just a couple of blocks from his house. At most, Stanley is about 6 months old and clearly hasn’t had the easiest start. He’s a little timid at first, so his foster intro’d him to experienced foster siblings, and he did great. He now plays with the other dogs in his home as his confidence has grown. Stanley is your typical playful puppy, still learning about the world, and has already discovered that dog beds are, in fact, amazing. Unknown how he is with cats. Children 7 years old or older. His forever home is required to have a totally enclosed, physically fenced yard. Stanley is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, on monthly heartworm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Stanley is searching for a forever family who will love, spoil and teach him how fun being a dog is all about! All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same-day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs under the age of 1 year attend 2 obedience classes (each class is a 6-week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs. No out-of-state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Stanley's adoption fee is $350.
