About Harley
Harley gets a lot of looks, not all of them fair—black, bully-breed, Boxer/Pit mixes like her are too often passed over or misjudged. Spend a few minutes with Harley and you’ll forget every stereotype. She’s almost six, but don’t expect a grumpy senior; instead, she’s a big, happy goof. Harley is always wiggling, always eager to nuzzle close, and she never wants to miss whatever you’re doing. Those soft eyes will follow you from couch to kitchen. Around the house, Harley is a quiet shadow. She’ll flop on your sofa, curl up on your bed, or stretch out wherever you settle. She’s earned her stripes in obedience class (she’s a PetSmart graduate), and you’ll notice how quick she is to read the room, sit when asked, and look for guidance. Treats? She takes them one at a time, gentle as can be. Harley loves people, walks, lounging, and being included—she’s just happiest near you. She gets along with other dogs, does fine with cats, and would likely love a home that doesn’t mind her assuming the role of loyal Velcro dog. It’s easy to imagine someone meeting Harley and wondering why they waited so long. Her birthday is July 13, which makes her a caring Cancer by the stars—no surprise there. Ready to fall in love?
