Meet Breezy- our playful pup! True to his name, Breezy is a 1.5-year-old Shepherd mix full of zoomies, goofy fun, and heart-melting sweetness. This young guy found himself at the shelter when his family situation changed and his owner had to move in with someone who is allergic to dogs. With cold weather rolling in, we bumped Breezy to the top of our intake list to get him out of the cold and into safety. Now that he’s here, Breezy is learning what it means to be warm, loved, and secure — and his personality is starting to shine! When he’s happy, he’s really happy: running laps in the yard, tossing around his beloved Jolly Ball, and showing off his best zoomies. He also went to doggie daycare in his previous home so will probably do well with most dogs! Breezy’s highlights: Crate trained Professional toy destroyer (durable toys only, please!) High-energy and playful. He is super sweet and affectionate and will greet you with a tail wag Loves peanut butter Breezy does has a very sensitive stomach and is on a special non-prescription diet, which he does great on. He’s also working on gaining a little weight, and we’re helping him every step of the way. This fun-loving boy will do best with an active family who can give him plenty of exercise, playtime, and love. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting. • You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF. • Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences. • We do request vet and personal references. • We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter
