May 28,2025 Update Chico will only be offered to a quiet adult home. He has developed behaviors in the shelter that will require an owner willing to work with him because he's smart and he's worth it. This is a very intelligent dog whose spirit has been damaged by shelter life. He can be picky about who he likes. He is very dog friendly and would benefit from living with a calm, stable dog. We are certain Chico will return to the happy go lucky boy he once was before the shelter took a toll on him. Chico was found stray and no owner has come to claim him. He's a bit thin but we are working on fattening him up. Chico is a young boy playful guy. He can be picky about who he likes and would do best in a home familiar with xl breed dogs. He enjoys romping around flinging toys or playing catch. Chico shares his food and toys like a gentleman and he is very dog friendly. Unkown with cats. No children.
