AvailableTootsie is a small, senior female Poodle with a gorgeous medium apricot and beige coat. She is house trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Now safe in Cranford, NJ, Tootsie is ready for a soft landing and plenty of comfort as she enters her golden years.
About Tootsie
Tootsie spent years outdoors, tethered, her matted fur and endless fleas hiding the sweet-natured poodle underneath. After extensive care, gentle grooming, and time in foster, she’s discovered what it means to be comfortable and safe. These days, she shines brightest around other dogs and truly needs at least one social canine companion—big or small—but big dogs are her favorites for cuddle-time. She approaches new people shyly, but blossoms once she feels safe, revealing a loyalty that runs deep. This gentle senior prefers slow yard strolls, her nose guiding her while she soaks in the breeze. Meals have become her celebration, and she greets every bowl with an eager “happy dance.” Tootsie is searching for a patient adopter with a secure yard and a dog-friendly home. She doesn’t get along with cats. If given time and warmth, Tootsie will reward her people with quiet companionship and unwavering affection in her golden years. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
