Meet Zeus! This affectionate boy is on the lookout for his forever home due to life changes in his owner's situation. He was once rescued from a kill shelter in Tennessee, and his owner has taken excellent care of him, providing him with love and everything he needs. Until the right home is found, Zeus will remain with his owner. Zeus is a 62-lb chocolate-and-white mix of Labrador Retriever and American Staffordshire Terrier. Neutered and house-trained, he’s a bundle of joy who leans into people for affection and loves belly rubs, even from strangers. Whether riding shotgun on long drives or receiving compliments during walks, he knows how to charm. This pup is a serious athlete, eagerly walking 3-6 miles daily and perfect as a running partner. He requires a spacious home, ideally with a yard or land—not suitable for apartment life or long hours alone. Zeus thrives in the company of humans and has proved great with familiar dogs, although he can be selective with new dogs on leash. The ideal adopter might work from home, be retired, or have flexible hours for daily adventures. An active lifestyle that includes plenty of outdoor activities would truly suit him well.
