About Dakota
Your new best friend is just one click away. One of the many remarkable dogs rescued from a difficult situation in Dresden, TN, Dakota is now getting her chance for a brighter future. Despite enduring tough conditions early in life, she is blossoming in foster care and learning the joys of being a cherished companion. Dakota is estimated to be around 2 years old, with her birthday falling on December 15, 2023, making her a fun-loving Sagittarius who just loves life’s adventures. She is a medium-sized, full-grown girl weighing about 41 pounds and sports a beautiful black and white coat of medium length. Dakota’s early experiences left her timid, but she's shown a gentle spirit and resilience. She quickly became a comforting presence for her fellow rescue friends and has grown more outgoing in her new environment at Happie Hounds in Mt. Juliet. Dakota enjoys the comforts of indoor living, loves to snuggle, and delights in playtime both inside and out. She especially thrives with other dogs, helping her canine friends feel secure and teaching them that people can be kind. Dakota is already spayed and fully vaccinated, so she's ready for her forever home where patience and love will help her continue to shine. This could be the start of something paw-some.
