About Donatello aka "Donnie"

Meet Donatello, affectionately known as "Donnie." This young fellow is looking for a home with a confident canine companion to help him come out of his shell. Initially shy around new people, Donnie needs a patient owner who will give him time to build trust. Once he feels secure, he transforms into a happy, playful pup who loves to fetch and romp around the yard with his dog friends. Donnie was rescued from a challenging situation in Dresden, TN, where over 50 dogs endured neglect and starvation. This tough start means he needs a little extra care as he adapts to his new surroundings. Though he's already potty trained, he might have a few accidents while he adjusts. Donnie gets along well with both dogs and cats—with proper introductions. He can also thrive in homes with respectful, dog-savvy children. To ensure the best fit, his new family should have a fenced yard and another playful dog to keep him company. The adoption fee is $400, which covers his spay/neuter and vaccinations.
