About Boss Man

Boss Man came in rough around the edges, having spent his early days as a street-smart outdoor cat fighting for scraps. When he first arrived at the sanctuary, people didn't impress him. He lived up to his bold name, keeping to himself and making it clear he was the boss. Over time, though, he discovered the upside of humans: cozy pets, a warm bed, and—most important—chunks of lickable treats. That opened him up, and now he’s not shy about making friends (as long as snacks are involved). He still needs time and patience to settle in, and will definitely hide at first. Once he trusts you, he’ll show his softer side—a playful spirit, a love for zoomies, and the urge to nap with a fellow cat or chase catnip toys until he’s tired out. Boss Man thrives with other cats, and absolutely must have a feline companion in his new home. His litter box habits are solid. He’s a people-watcher who has even learned to enjoy greeting visitors, especially those who come bearing treats. Fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations, Boss Man is ready for a 100% indoor home—no declawing. If you’re patient, gentle, and well-stocked with snacks, you might just win over this former tough guy. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
