When he arrived in foster care, Tiggs was very sick, and his chances of survival were slim, but he proved to be a fighter and a survivor. Though he had a rough start to life and has needed a little extra TLC from time to time, he’s thriving in foster care and showing everyone just how resilient and affectionate he can be. This tenderhearted boy adores spending time with his family and, once he gets to know and trust them, he fits right in. He has always been social and will do best in a home where he isn’t alone for long periods of time. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and people of all ages and stages, making him a perfect companion for any loving home. He can be a little nervous around very small or active children at first but usually adapts quickly. Tiggs would be a purrfect companion for anyone embracing a slower or calmer lifestyle because he prefers to soak up the good life at a leisurely pace. Tiggs is incredibly well-mannered and rarely gets into trouble. He is also smart and teachable, having learned to sit on command and currently learning to give high fives. He still has a kitten’s heart and enjoys playing with all kinds of kitty toys. He loves catnip, climbing his cat tower, and lounging by a sunny window. He adores treats of all kinds but especially Churu treats, which he begs for by loudly meowing at the pantry door. Tiggs is ready to find his forever family — one that will cherish his gentle spirit, offer him the care and love he deserves, and enjoy the endless affection he has to give.
