Meet Deveraux! Deveraux is an all-around really great cat with perfect Southern gentleman manners and a heart of gold. He’s very smart, very sweet, and while he may be a little timid in the beginning, he just needs a little time to fully come out of his shell. Once comfortable, Deveraux is affectionate, social, and loves attention. He enjoys being brushed, will happily work for a churu, and even sits on command—especially if treats are involved. A polite boy with excellent snack motivation. Deveraux was raised in a home with other cats and does wonderfully with them. He has also grown up alongside three large dogs and handles canine roommates like a pro. In his free time, Deveraux enjoys feather wand toys, laser lights, scratching posts, and soaking up the sunshine on the catio. He would do best with respectful children who understand that he’ll need a few weeks to settle in and feel completely safe. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, well-mannered companion who just needs patience and love to truly shine, Deveraux is ready to meet his forever family. Deveraux is located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast but can be transported to the northeast. His adoption fee is $300.
