About Athena
Athena, named for the Greek goddess of wisdom, has a blend of wit and quiet observation. She’s calm and gracious, happy to trail behind with a prissy walk and take in everything you say. Her favorite things include batting at rolling balls, finding a sunbeam in the window, and curling up in the perfect cardboard box for a nap. Athena might seem mysterious—sometimes you won’t be sure if she’s showing off or simply enjoying your company—but she always makes her quiet presence felt. She gets along with other cats and spends a lot of time with her littermate, Hades, though she’d be comfortable in homes with or without other feline friends. Athena takes to all sorts of people but seems to favor male company, even if she’ll settle on anyone’s lap. As a brown tabby with bold white mittens and a white locket, plus tall, elegant posture and wise hazel eyes, she can’t help but turn heads. At about 8 months old, Athena is ready to settle into a new home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
