Truffles is a 3-year-old dog with an adorable puppy-like appearance and a 50-pound athletic physique. She likes other dogs with a slow, proper introduction, and all people (including children). She is a little excitable around cats. Truff is housetrained, smart, and mastered commands like sit, down, shake, high five, sit pretty, and off in no time. She is a little nervous in new situations (licking, reassurance of touch) but adjusts quickly with a good routine. She is eager to please and has short, soft fur (like velvet on her belly). She hardly sheds! Soft and sweet. Truffles adjusts her energy level to suit the circumstances, equally content to join you on brisk walks or curl up on a plush bed and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation time. She is an excellent retriever of tennis balls! All adoptions are by appointment only. If you are interested in a meeting or adoption, please request an application via a Petfinder inquiry. In California, dogs are required to have current rabies vaccinations and must be licensed in their county of residence.
