About Canel
Canela is an 11-month-old Pit Bully mix with an endless supply of affection and playfulness. She’s a brown and white girl with sunny energy and a strong desire to connect with her people. Her current family is making the hard choice to rehome her due to financial and housing instability—they want her to land somewhere truly safe and supported. Canela is energetic and thrives on attention. She’s crate trained and friendly with children, and she gets along well with other dogs. New visitors are greeted with pure excitement; she’ll jump up, tail wagging, eager for interaction. Canela is still very young and will benefit from patient, consistent training—she’s not yet house trained, is working on manners, and should be fed separately as she guards food and toys. Despite eating well, Canela is underweight and needs a home able to work closely with a veterinarian to get her thriving. Her dream adopter will have the stability and resources to offer training, adequate vet care, and lots of love. She’s located in Woodland, CA and hoping for a new start in a home ready to put in the time and guidance she needs. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
