About Sheila
Linda and Colt are an incredibly close bonded pair, looking for a new chapter together in a loving home after losing their owner. They bring out the best in each other—Colt, the 11-year-old husky/spitz and German Shepherd mix gentleman, offers calm steadiness; Linda, about 3 years old and a mixed breed with youthful energy, adds spark and affection. Both weigh around 45 lbs, enjoying every pet, cuddle, and chance for adventure. House trained and outgoing, Linda and Colt thrive around people, love walks and hiking, and have a special affinity for kids and other dogs. They’re not right for homes with cats or small animals, and their typical northern breed traits mean secure, very tall fencing or leash-only exercise is non-negotiable—otherwise, their playful curiosity can become an escape. Regular group training classes are included (held twice weekly in Sebastopol), helping them polish their leash skills and bond with their people. Linda and Colt both respond well to routines, companionship, and attention—they reward it with loyalty, warmth, and fun "singing" sessions. Linda is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. If you can keep these two safe, loved, and together, they’ll fill your home with personality and heart. Start your journey together! Apply now.
