About Starr

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Starr is a sweet Great Dane mix puppy, around five months old, who came to the rescue alongside her sister after their previous owner could no longer care for them. Thanks to the guidance of a professional dog trainer and participation in a unique prison program, Starr has thrived and received ample obedience training. She is already house trained and crate trained, making her more than ready to join her new family. Starr is expected to grow into a large, athletic girl—perhaps reaching around 60 pounds as an adult—and would be happiest in a home that can offer her an active lifestyle. While she hasn't lived with cats or children, Starr has shown an excellent temperament and gets along well with other dogs. This playful and friendly pup is now seeking her forever home, where she can put all her training and bright spirit to good use. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!

Questions about Starr

Great Dane mixes typically thrive in homes with enough space to accommodate their size, such as a house with a yard. They appreciate being part of an active household but are also known for enjoying time indoors with their family.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

A Great Dane mix benefits from access to a securely fenced yard, but regular walks and exercise are just as important. They do not require extensive land, but moderate outdoor space is ideal for their well-being.
