About Dahlia
Dahlia—or Dali if you prefer—has spent her early years surviving as a stray mom. Now, just past three years old, she’s looking for stability and kindness from her future family. She’s an American Staffordshire Terrier mix with DNA to prove there’s also Bulldog and Boxer in the mix. Dali is shy when first meeting new people, especially after all she’s endured, but once trust builds, she turns into a loyal velcro dog who sticks by her person’s side. She’s playful, sometimes a total goof with post-dinner zoomies, and she’ll take every chance for a couch cuddle. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, and has no resource-guarding issues. Dahlia thrives on positive reinforcement, is extremely food-motivated, and has already picked up good basics. She’d do best with an experienced, patient adopter in a calm home, ideally with a fenced yard and a confident canine companion. Dahlia does best when people move gently around her, especially on-leash. She’s gentle and gets along with other dogs and children, but needs a quiet environment so her confidence can keep growing. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Dali just wants to feel secure and loved for the first time. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
