About Kola

Kola is a 7 1/2-year-old black mouth cur and American Staffordshire Terrier mix, weighing 53 lbs, with a short brown coat. Affectionate and sweet, she loves to be a big lap dog. She gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes and is friendly with children. However, Kola does not get along with cats. Before joining the rescue, she had two small masses removed; one was a low-grade mast cell tumor with dirty margins in a spot that can’t be easily revised, but her radiographs were clean. Currently, she’s managed with over-the-counter medication for the mast cell issue, takes a skin supplement, and receives Cytopoint injections for her allergies. Kola is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and has good bloodwork. She’s house trained as well. Located in Wesley Chapel, FL, adopters must be within a 1.5-hour drive for the home check.
