About Britta
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Britta! Britta is a gentle, 1.5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a beautiful short red and white coat, weighing about 30 pounds. She came to the shelter with her four puppies, who have all found foster homes, and now it’s Britta’s turn to find a loving foster or foster-to-adopt family. Britta is very shy and timid with people, but she truly lights up when around other dogs—she’s a standout in playgroups and gains confidence from her canine companions. She’s a joy to walk on leash with her shelter friends. Britta will thrive in a home with another friendly, playful, and confident dog who can help her adjust and feel comfortable in her new environment. She needs a patient foster who is willing to give her the space and encouragement to build trust and find her forever home. A fenced yard is a must for her safety and comfort. Don’t miss out on giving Britta the secure, loving home she’s been waiting for! Fun fact: Britta was born on October 1, which makes her a Libra—a sign known for its loving and gentle nature.
