About Lovely Luna
Meet Lovely Luna: A Sweet Little Light Looking for Her Home. Lovely Luna's life didn't start out with the kindness she deserves. She and her three siblings were found abandoned in a box on a lonely country road in Southeast Louisiana. It's hard to believe such a sweet soul was left behind, but thank goodness a kind person spotted that box and called for help. Now, Luna is ready to shine in a home of her very own. True to her name, "Lovely Luna" is an absolute delight. She has a charm that is all her own and a spirit that is as resilient as it is sweet. At roughly two months old, we think she's a Jack Russell Terrier mix-likely with some Dachshund or Cattle Dog in the mix-which should make her a perfect small-to-medium size when she's all grown up. While she's stunning in her pictures, they truly don't do her justice; she has a way of tilting her head that will melt your heart instantly. Our Promise to Luna (and You): We want to make sure Luna's future is filled with nothing but love and health. The rescue will provide: All age-appropriate vaccinations Microchipping Spay/Neuter surgery when she is age-appropriate Luna is currently being cared for by a foster in North Louisiana, but she is looking for her "furever" home (or a local foster) in the New Orleans area. To help her find her way to her new family, transport will be arranged to bring this lovely girl to you. Luna has been through a lot in her short life, but she's ready to leave that box on the road in the past. Will you be the one to give her the bright future she deserves?
