Meet Roscoe (The Good Boy Who Could Outshine the Sun) Behold: Roscoe. Almost 7 months old. Twenty-seven pounds. Jack Russell Terrier and Carolina Dog by ancestry - but by nature, something rarer entirely. He's the sort of creature poets accidentally describe when they write about golden light spilling across a field. His coat glows like morning honey, his eyes hold the quiet wisdom of someone who's seen a thousand sunrises and still gets excited for breakfast. He moves with intention - one moment a blur of joyful velocity, the next a gentle sigh curled into the crook of your arm. To witness his zoomies is to believe in physics; to feel his stillness against you is to believe in grace. His foster, unable to resist the shape of him, calls him "Potato." A nickname born of roundness, warmth, and that uncanny comfort only something perfectly familiar can bring. But make no mistake - this is no ordinary spud. This is a dog of mythic tenderness and comedic timing. Roscoe is housebroken, crate-trained, dog-loving, cat-tolerant, and so perfectly attuned to joy that he radiates it. He's the kind of dog who reminds you that simple things - a yard, a laugh, a shared nap - are actually the grand things. So here he is: not just a dog, but a small masterpiece of motion and meaning, ready to take his place in your story. And if you're lucky - he'll let you call him Potato, too. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
