About Poppy
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Poppy! Poppy is a beautiful, petite Pointer mix with a heart full of love and energy to spare. This sweet girl is as friendly as they come and truly thrives around other dogs—she loves to play, run, and be part of a pack. Whether it’s romping with friends or sticking close to her people, Poppy just wants to be where the fun (and love) is. We saved Poppy and her puppy from a high-kill shelter, and while her baby has already found a wonderful home, now it’s Poppy’s turn to get her happy ending. As a true Pointer, Poppy has a wonderful natural instinct for spotting birds and exploring the world with her nose and eyes. This makes her especially fun for people who enjoy hiking, outdoor adventures, or even dog sports—she loves having a "job" and being mentally engaged. With her excellent recall and eagerness to learn, she’s a joy to work with and easy to guide. Poppy is incredibly smart, very active, and happiest when she’s on the move—long walks, hikes, playtime with other dogs, and brain games help her shine. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and adventurous companion who will keep you smiling and moving, Poppy might just be your perfect match. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
