Baloo is a 2.5-year-old Dalmatian mix with a perfect blend of brains and comic charm. He’s a master sniffer — nose always to the ground, hot on the trail of whatever scent catches his interest. Don’t be surprised if he wanders off on a little investigation if you’re not paying attention. Meeting new faces and exploring unknown places makes Baloo a bit nervous; he prefers to take things slow until he feels confident. Once he’s in his comfort zone, though, there’s no dog more loyal. If you become one of his people, expect a tail that wags double-time and full-body wiggles at your arrival. His warm welcome can make your whole day. Baloo is high-energy and loves getting outside, running and exploring. He really shines with regular engagement and is happiest as part of a pack—either human or canine—but can handle some alone time if needed. Still, he’s not suited for those who leave dogs alone for long stretches. Baloo needs an experienced or especially dedicated owner willing to put in the effort to guide him.
