Birdie is a young, spayed female Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer mix with a medium build and a short, white and black coat. She is house trained and her vaccinations are current. Birdie is currently in Los Angeles, CA, looking for her new home.

About Birdie

Birdie came into rescue in terrible shape, surrendered along with her sister—both were severely underweight. Despite that rough start, Birdie carries no baggage. She greets every new person with genuine excitement and a tail that seems to never stop wagging. At around 2 years old, Birdie is loaded with youthful energy; she’s playful, bouncy, and ready for any adventure. Evidence suggests she spent a lot of time in a small crate with little attention, but she’s quick to forgive and endlessly curious. You’ll find Birdie is crate trained and will happily snooze in the morning if you let her. She’s house trained and does very well with people, including strangers. Birdie’s best with dogs her size or larger, but she shouldn’t be placed with small dogs or cats. Because she’s jumpy and strong, she needs an adult home or one with older teens who can handle her enthusiasm. Birdie is looking for an adopter who can keep up with her and help her burn off her playful energy. Applicants must visit her in Los Angeles, CA; she is not available for out-of-state adoption.
