About Echo

Meet Echo — a quiet soul with a resilient heart. Echo was discovered wandering the streets of Philadelphia, battered and alone. Bite wounds and old scars map out a rough past, likely from another dog, but none of this broke her spirit. Instead, Echo greets people with gentleness, affection, and a depth of trust. Her world is quieter than most; Echo is nearly or completely deaf. She relies on what she sees and feels, watching intently, drawing comfort from human connection, and forming strong, loyal bonds with those who treat her kindly. Given her needs, Echo will do best in a calm, steady home with predictable routines. She’s great with children over 10, appreciates patience, and communicates best with consistency. She’s fully house trained and crate trained. Since her rescue, Echo has completed professional training, growing from skittish and cautious to proud and composed on walks, especially when she’s beside someone she trusts. Ongoing support is available: her trainers from Cultured Canine are offering free follow-up sessions to help Echo settle into her new life. Echo is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. For someone willing to give a little extra understanding, Echo will give everything she has in return. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
