About Peppermint Patti

Peppermint Patti (known as Peppy) is a 2-year-old pittie mix with a story of resilience. She was found stray, very underweight, and in need of eye surgery. Since then, Peppy has transformed into a vibrant, playful, and loving companion. Now healthy, up to date on vaccines, and spayed, she is learning to trust and embrace family life inside her foster home. Peppy lives with two young children and another pit mix. She does well with other dogs (slow, thoughtful introductions work best because she gets so excited to play). Peppy is picking up on basic commands like sit, down, and off, and is working hard on her leash manners. She’s crate trained, sleeps great through the night, enjoys car rides, and is making steady progress with house-training—consistency helps her thrive. She loves wearing cozy jackets or pajamas in cold weather and can’t resist a good bone, tug-of-war game, or a walk. At the end of a busy day, she’s all about cuddling on the couch. Peppy needs an active family able to keep up with her energy and invested in continued training and affection. She’ll reward you with loyalty and plenty of kisses. What are you waiting for?
