Queenie’s story is a bit of a mystery, but one thing is very clear — this girl was definitely someone’s pet at one point. She was found wandering as a “stray” with a collar and leash still attached, yet heartbreakingly no one ever came forward to claim her. Despite that, Queenie hasn’t lost her loving spirit. She is truly one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet and is ready to find the family who will love her forever. We estimate Queenie to be around 2 years old and approximately 50 pounds, making her a perfect medium-sized companion for just about any home. Queenie has a wonderful personality. She loves children, enjoys the company of other dogs, and absolutely loves to run and play. When she plays she’s a little quirky and goofy — the kind of dog that will keep you laughing with her funny antics. She has also been around cats and does well with them, although they seem to make her a little nervous. She mostly just keeps her distance rather than trying to interact with them. Queenie already has great manners. She walks nicely on a leash and is crate trained. She’ll be heading into foster care where we’ll continue to learn more about her routine and confirm that she’s fully potty trained. This sweet girl is also fully vetted and ready to start her new life. Queenie is the kind of dog that brings joy wherever she goes — loving, funny, and full of personality.
