Stampy is a bright, affectionate young dog who is full of personality and joy. At roughly 2 years old and around 45 pounds, he brings a fun mix of playful energy and sweet, cuddly loyalty that makes him a wonderful companion for an active, engaged home. He is incredibly smart and curious, always ready to learn something new or figure out a puzzle toy in record time. He loves romping in the yard, carrying toys around, and enjoying short bursts of play throughout the day. When he is done, he settles beautifully and is happiest curled up close to his people. Stampy truly believes he is a lap dog and takes every opportunity to prove it. Stampy has done well with many dogs and enjoys having social playmates who understand his enthusiastic, sometimes mouthy play style. He would be a great match for a tolerant, playful dog who enjoys a bit of bounce and goofiness. He has lived around cats, and while he sometimes invites them to play, he responds well to confident cats who set boundaries. Because he can get excited easily, Stampy will do best in a home with older children who can participate in his training and help reinforce calm interactions. He thrives with structure and clear routines and does beautifully when given consistent guidance. He is not an aggressive dog, and his occasional overexcitement softens quickly with calm handling and a little redirection. Stampy is crate trained, housebroken, and enjoys having a safe space to relax when the world feels busy. He has a large heart, a loving nature, and so much potential to grow into an incredible, devoted companion. With a family who appreciates his zest for life and is ready to guide him as he matures, Stampy will shine.
