Bellamy is the kind of dog who just wants to be loved and finally feel safe. This beautiful, roughly 1-year-old pit bull came to us as a very underweight stray, but despite everything she’s been through, she has remained incredibly sweet and trusting. She is gaining weight nicely and continues to blossom more each day. Bellamy is an affectionate, people-oriented girl who thrives on connection. She will gently nudge your hand when she wants pets and happily melt into you for snuggles. Being close to her person is her favorite place to be. She is also dog friendly and has shown she can interact well with other dogs. Because of how strongly she bonds, Bellamy does not enjoy being away from her people and will make it known when she’s feeling lonely. She would do best in a home where someone is around often and is not suited for apartment living. Bellamy is looking for a home where she can truly settle in, feel secure, and be part of a family.
