Bellamy
AvailableBellamy is a female, young medium-sized pit bull terrier with a striking gray-blue short coat. Though she is not yet house trained, she is already spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. Bellamy is currently in Petersburg, VA, waiting to find her new home.
About Bellamy
Bellamy just wants to be safe and truly loved. Around a year old, this gray-blue pit bull came in painfully thin after life as a stray. Even so, she’s remained incredibly sweet and trusting. She’s filling out and, every day, grows more confident. Bellamy is all about people. She’ll nudge your hand for affection and is happiest tucked up against you for snuggles. She bonds deeply and wants nothing more than to be at your side—her loyalty is something you’ll feel every day. She gets along great with other dogs, having shown she can interact calmly with them. Because she bonds so strongly, Bellamy really struggles when left alone and isn’t a fit for apartment life or a household where she’ll be on her own for long hours. She needs a family or person who’s around a lot, willing to help her feel safe and included. Bellamy’s ready to give everything she has to people who show her patience and stability. If you want a gentle dog who will shower you with love and never take your presence for granted, she’s the one to meet. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
