About Hershey
Hershey is a charming young pit mix who had a rough start but is now thriving in a loving foster home. At approximately 10 months old and around 45 pounds, he’s a lively and affectionate pup. He loves being the center of attention and is fully house trained, showing no accidents in his foster setting. This spirited boy gets along well with other dogs, displaying his playful nature. However, his exuberance means he would fit best in a home with kids aged 10 and up, as his energy might be overwhelming for younger children. Though Hershey hasn't been tested with cats yet, a trial is on the horizon, so stay tuned for updates. Hershey still has some youthful manners to learn, so potential adopters should be ready to invest in training. With patience and guidance, he will blossom into a remarkable companion. He’s currently receiving vaccines and will be neutered soon. If you're up for daily adventures and lots of love, Hershey is eager to meet you. This sweet boy is in foster care through Petersburg Animal Care & Control in Petersburg, Virginia. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
