Meet Sky – A Soft Soul Ready for Comfort Sky is an adult female pit bull with a heart far gentler than the life she’s known. She was seen roaming for over a month before finally being brought to safety, and her body tells the story of time spent surviving outdoors. But Sky’s spirit tells a very different story. This sweet girl is incredibly affectionate and just wants to be close to her people. Sky seeks out snuggles, leans in for affection, and melts into any moment of kindness. Despite whatever she endured while living outside, she has no interest in returning to that life. Snow, rain, and cold are absolutely not her thing. She wants warmth, comfort, and a soft place to rest, and she makes that very clear. Sky already knows how to sit and is showing signs of being crate trained and house trained, which suggests she likely had a home at some point and remembers what it means to be part of a household. She settles easily, enjoys quiet time, and seems happiest when she can relax indoors near her people. Based on what we’ve seen so far, Sky appears to be dog friendly, approaching other dogs calmly and with gentle interest. She seems far more focused on companionship and affection than anything else. Sky would thrive in a home where she can finally feel safe, wanted, and loved. After spending so long on her own, she’s ready to trade survival for snuggles and stability.
