Once Joey is convinced you’re safe, a softer and surprisingly sweet side starts to surface. He lounges on the couch, requests snacks with quietly impeccable manners, and shadows you like the world's most nervous but loyal intern. Each day, he's a bit braver. It’s rewarding to watch him figure out that love is actually pretty great. Joey thrives with calm, steady humans and does best with a confident dog buddy. Another dog will help show him key life lessons—strangers don’t usually bite, couches are paradise, and the kitchen is where cheese appears. He’s into cozy blanket burrows, quiet company, epic naps, and pretending to be aloof until he melts right into your lap.
