About Dung Beetle

Dung Beetle is a mischievous, playful young guy who thrives on being part of whatever his humans are doing. He loves nothing more than burrowing into a blanket burrito and curling up in bed with you for the night. Social to his core, he’ll eagerly ride on shoulders and wants in on all the action around the house. There’s not a cat or dog he hasn’t befriended yet. Dung Beetle's needs are a little different—he was born with Manx Syndrome, which means no tail, a shorter spine, and some help needed at bathroom time. He wears diapers, needs his bladder expressed two or three times a day, and sometimes benefits from a quick clean-up with wet wipes. He may grumble and creak during care, but he’s soon back to having fun. Ironically, you won’t need to worry about a litterbox, though he still enjoys a good dig now and then. He’s especially fond of other cats, and he and his buddy Ladybug make a wonderful pair if you have space in your heart and home for two. Adopters should have another playful feline friend at home, or consider adopting Dung Beetle with a companion. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
