About Hope
Hope was found after a harrowing injury left her tail torn from her spine. Despite such a traumatic beginning, she's made a remarkable recovery and has adapted to life with a tail amputation. Currently, she can't urinate or defecate on her own, but her foster has learned and can easily guide others through the routine. It involves gently expressing her bladder and bowels a couple of times daily—Hope's gentle nature and patience make her especially easy to care for compared to other incontinent cats. She spends her days in comfort, wearing an affordable diaper for any small accidents, and it doesn't stop her from exploring or enjoying the home. Sensitive and affectionate, Hope finds her greatest joy in spending time with people and other animals. She seeks out snuggles, even offering comfort to other kittens in need. Her foster describes her as a true therapy cat, always ready to lend warmth and calm wherever she goes. Hope gets along well with dogs, cats, and children, blending easily into multi-pet family life. She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Her adopters will receive a care package after adoption. Hope is fostered in Stoughton, WI and looking for a family willing to learn about her care. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
