About Hades
Hades is a hefty, endearing goofball who looks tough but has a mushy heart. He’s crate trained, house trained, and strikes a balance between enjoying relaxed time on the couch and bursts of playful energy. Walks, wrestling, shredding toys, and chewing on Nylabones are his favorite ways to unwind. He doesn’t guard food or toys and is consistently affectionate and playful with those he trusts. He’s a sensitive dog who picks up on nervous energy and prefers calm, adult-only homes—children are not a match for his needs. Hades gets attached more quickly to women, but he’ll bond with patient men, too. He can be reactive if handled in ways he dislikes, particularly with hygiene care, so a consent-based approach matters. He must be the only dog in his home, and though he's lived with a cat before, some reactivity means any feline friends must be managed closely. Hades is searching for a dog-savvy adult who’ll provide structure, patience, and ongoing support for his growth. When you earn his trust, his loyalty and affection come in full force. If you’re ready to help this big softie shine, he’s ready to bring you laughter and serious snuggles. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
