About Hades
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Hades, a large, lovable lug who effortlessly combines the spirit of a silly wrestler with the heart of a professional snuggler. Don’t let his intimidating appearance fool you—beneath it all lies a goofy soul who thrives on affection and just wants to be loved. As a Sagittarius, Hades loves adventure and has a bold, joyful spirit! Hades shines at home: he’s both crate and potty trained, with a low to medium energy level. He enjoys walks and playtime but is just as content lounging as a champion couch potato. Hades delights in wrestling, snuggling, expertly shredding his stuffies, and savoring Nylabones, plus he shows no resource-guarding around food or toys. He’s deeply affectionate and playful, especially with those he trusts. Hades is sensitive to fearful energy and direct eye contact, and while he warms up faster to women, with patience he will bond with men too. He requires a calm, adult-only household—no children—to feel secure. Handling should be thoughtful, especially around hygiene care, since he may growl if his bottom is handled and does best with management and consent-based approaches. Hades must be the only dog in your home; he does not get along well with other dogs. While he has lived with a cat before, recent reactions mean a home with no other pets or one where careful management is possible will be best. He’s still working on meeting new people and managing overstimulation but thrives in the care of a dog-savvy adopter or foster who can offer calm leadership, clear structure, and plenty of patience. With understanding, he will reward you with unmatched devotion, plenty of laughs, and the warmest snuggles you'll ever experience. Thinking Hades could be the one? Give him the loving home he’s been waiting for. Click apply to start the adoption process.
