About Dolly

Meet Dolly! Her story takes some wild turns: scheduled to be euthanized with puppies on board, Dolly was pulled in time to bring ten healthy pups into the world. Her puppies have all landed in good homes, and now it’s Dolly’s time to get what she gave them—a shot at safety and happiness. Dolly is a young, energetic girl, around a year old and about 50 pounds. She’s playful, friendly, and especially loves being around kids. She does well with dogs her own size or larger but doesn’t do well with cats or small dogs, so she needs a home without them. Clever as she is, Dolly can hop baby gates, so she’ll need a yard with a secure six-foot fence. She loves her walks and any opportunity to hang out with her people or foster friends, so expect an affectionate shadow. Dolly’s hoping for a new family who will give back the love, safety, and loyalty she’s shown others. Born on August 19, she’s a proud Leo—big-hearted and impossible to ignore.
