About Dolly
This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet Dolly, an adorable border collie mix puppy with beautiful black, brown, and tan markings. She arrived at Animal Ark after being abandoned, and a kind young man provided her with temporary care, where her personality truly began to shine. Dolly is shy, obedient, and playful—she loves a good game of tag and wandering walks in the woods, but she’s just as happy relaxing on the couch with her favorite people. Dolly tends to be cautious and reserved around other dogs, and it isn’t known how she’ll react to children or cats. Since her arrival at the shelter, staff have been impressed by her friendly nature, cleanliness, and how well she walks on a leash. With those border collie genes, Dolly likely has a natural herding instinct and a strong work ethic, making her a wonderful walking partner or cherished new family member. If you’d like to meet this sweet girl, simply fill out an adoption application and the staff will arrange a meet and greet. She’s ready for her next adventure—could it be with you?
