About Gordy
Gordy, also known as Gordo, Gordito, Sir Gordon, or even Cheesy Gordita Crunch, is a spirited border collie/lab mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for chasing just about anything you’ll throw—especially a ball. He weighs in around 48 lbs and thrives with an active routine, ready to play fetch, tug, or go on car rides where he politely rides in the back seat. Gordy walks well on a leash and knows several basic commands already, including sit, lay down, and 'crate up.' Despite a rough start as one of sixteen dogs from a tough situation, Gordy has adapted quickly to home life. He does have a limp from an old injury and has lost some front teeth, but neither slows him down or diminishes his sunny, playful temperament. He’s fully house and crate trained, gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, and is open and friendly towards strangers too. He’s looking for a home that can keep him mentally and physically engaged—regular games, walks, and adventures are right up his alley. Gordy is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for adoption in St. Paul, MN. Fun fact, he’s a Sagittarius, so you can expect plenty of energy and cheerful curiosity.
