About Filo
Filo (pronounced Fee-low, like phyllo dough) has a story that stands out. When he first arrived at Crash’s Landing in April 2025, he was severely underweight and weak, struggling with every bite. Formerly part of a managed feral colony, he vanished for a while and came back in rough shape—thin, tired, with breathing trouble and a drooling mouth. When radiographs revealed he had megaesophagus, it explained why, no matter how hard he ate, he couldn’t put on weight. He faced a long list of challenges—anemia, dehydration, parasites, pain—but kept pushing through with steady, quiet determination. Eight months on, with careful feeding routines, elevated bowls, and consistent care, Filo has regained his strength and nearly doubled his weight. Meds didn’t work out, but his routine and the basic medical support he needs have made all the difference. His medical care will stay sponsored if continued with the Feline Wellness Center. Despite everything, Filo stays playful, curious, and gentle. He loves attention, stretches dramatically across the floor, and finds joy in simple moments. He gets along with cats, dogs, and children, making him a calm, adaptable companion. Filo needs a home where someone will stick to his feeding needs and embrace his quirks. In return, he’ll give back more than words can capture—affection, playfulness, and quiet admiration. Every animal has a story; Filo’s is one of resilience. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
