Juju
AvailableJuju is a black, short-coated Domestic Short Hair cat living in Grand Rapids, MI. She is an adult female, estimated to be around 2 years and 4 months old. Juju is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. She doesnât have special needs but prefers a low-key environment where she can be herself and build trust on her terms.
About Juju
Jujuâs past was roughâshe was rescued with a collar deeply embedded and painful ingrown claws, all signs she hadnât known a gentle hand for too long. Because of it, Juju is wary: she startles easily and keeps her distance, but not from everyone. Given patience and space, sheâs shown she can warm up to people she decides to trust, and when that trust is earned, it matters. Juju absolutely cannot handle being confined; it erodes the progress sheâs made, so she needs a quieter home where she can move at her own pace, without pressure. Other cats give Juju a sense of safety she doesnât find with people yetâshe relaxes and finds comfort in feline company. The best environment for her is a calm home with another friendly, mellow cat (and humans who understand trust canât be hurried). She may always be somewhat skittish, and cuddles probably wonât come right away, but with the right person, sheâll be secure enough to surprise you in her own time. Born January 20, Juju is an Aquariusâmaybe that explains her independent streak. Ready to meet a cat who needs freedom, patience, and understanding? Ready to fall in love?
