Curls is a senior female Miniature Poodle currently residing at Tails of Gray. She is small in size, weighing approximately 8–10 pounds. Curls is house-trained, is spayed, and has her vaccinations up to date. She gets along well with both dogs and cats, making her a great candidate for all kinds of families.

Your new best friend is just one click away. We are so happy to introduce Curls, a sweet senior Miniature Poodle whose loving personality truly shines. After a challenging journey, including a recent return to the shelter and recovery from severe neglect, Curls has blossomed. Once her painful mats were shaved away, she immediately started to feel comfortable and show her affectionate, sassy side. Curls gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion to play with. She is also okay with cats, making her a wonderful addition to multi-pet homes. With a love for toys and a hearty appetite, Curls is always ready for playtime and treats. She’s house-trained, even using training pads when needed. While car rides aren’t her favorite, this can be managed with medication, ensuring safe travels. Curls isn’t a fan of harnesses or sweaters, but her delightful personality makes up for it in every way. She’s scheduled for removal of two small mammary tumors, with a great prognosis following previous benign results. Once healed, Curls will be ready for her next chapter. At 10 years old and weighing between 8 and 10 pounds, Curls is looking for a loving family to welcome her home and enjoy many affectionate moments together.
