About Cleo
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Cleo, a bold and spirited baby Doberman ready to take on the world—and your heart! Born on September 10th, Cleo is a black and tan puppy with natural ears and a docked tail, bringing unmatched personality and energy wherever she goes. As a deaf pup, Cleo makes her presence known with extra volume, never realizing just how much sound she's sharing, but always giving life her all. Playful, pushy, and stubborn, Cleo is still mastering proper play and bite inhibition, so all playtime must be closely supervised, especially with other dogs, and especially since she doesn’t always pick up on their body language. After her excitement winds down, Cleo will retreat for a well-earned nap in her crate, valuing her downtime as much as a vigorous romp. She’s affectionate yet independent, not quite a Velcro dog, but one who genuinely appreciates both snuggles and solitude. Cleo’s journey began with adversity—she’s the sole survivor of her litter, taken in after a compassionate rescuer intervened when her breeder considered euthanasia. Along with her deafness, she faces minor motor and vision challenges but continues to improve in a supportive environment. She’s crate trained, making progress with potty training, and responds best to routine, gentle physical guidance, and clear structure. Cleo’s perfect adopter will have Doberman or working dog experience and be fully committed to her unique needs. She’s not for households with small children due to her lack of bite inhibition, nor homes with other female dogs—she’ll benefit most from male canine companions and an adopter who truly understands high-energy, special-needs pups with a lot to teach and even more to give. She is spayed, fully vetted, and healthy, just quirky in her own way. If you’re looking for a resilient, silly, and energetic young Doberman and can offer the patience, structure, and dedication she needs to thrive, Cleo could be your perfect match. She’s not the easiest, but she’s absolutely worth the journey. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Cleo
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Doberman Pinschers thrive in an active home environment where they have plenty of attention and exercise. They do well in homes with secure yards or those that can provide regular outings and mental stimulation.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Dobermans are energetic dogs and need access to outdoor space such as a medium-sized fenced yard or regular trips to parks. Daily walks and play sessions are important to meet their exercise needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Dobermans can be excellent with children when properly socialized and trained. However, their size and energy may be overwhelming for very small children, so supervision and guidance are important.
