About River Cchs
River Cchs has spent most of his young life in a shelter, which means the world outside is still pretty new and a bit intimidating. He was born at Clayton County Humane Society alongside several siblings and had a brief taste of life in a home before being returned through no fault of his own. While he tends to be overlooked because of his medium-to-large frame, River is a genuinely friendly dog who just needs the right person to see his potential. He’s a bit timid, especially around dogs and sometimes kids, but warms up to people who give him patience and kindness. River enjoys his time outdoors, going on walks and exploring at his own pace. He loves treats, welcomes familiar faces with a wagging tail, and would thrive with a patient adopter willing to spend one-on-one time with him, helping him decompress and truly shine outside the shelter's noise. River is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and has a healthy foundation—he’s just looking for the place and the person to really call home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!

Questions about River Cchs
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
River Cchs, being a Doberman Pinscher and German Shepherd Dog mix, would do best in a home with space to move—ideally a house with a secure yard. Apartments may be fine if daily walks and exercise are provided, but ample space is preferred.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A dog like River Cchs thrives with access to a large fenced yard or regular outdoor adventures. These breeds are active and enjoy having room to run or play, so outdoor space is a real benefit.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
River Cchs gets along with children and, with supervision and gentle handling, makes a good family pet. Both Doberman and German Shepherd mixes are generally tolerant and bond well with respectful kids.
