About Spuds And Winnie
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Spuds and Winnie, the adorable senior duo with hearts full of love and energy! After losing their lifelong owner, these two have found comfort with their foster family as they search together for a forever home where they won't be separated. Despite being companions for a decade, Spuds and Winnie still brim with pep and joy for life! Spuds is the quintessential happy-go-lucky fellow who loves nothing more than exploring and playing in the yard. His quiet bark lets you know when it's time for fun, food, or a little attention. Spuds is short-haired and enjoys a good brush and bath to stay his handsomest. He prefers to have his own dining space, as he's known to be enthusiastic about sharing food—especially if it's not his! Winnie, on the other hand, will melt into your arms with cuddles and sweetness. She loves the company of other dogs but prefers a calm environment, as loud noises can make her nervous. Winnie does have a heart murmur that needs medication twice daily, but you’d never guess it by her lively spirit and love for playtime. Both Spuds and Winnie are looking for a home with a gentle atmosphere and a family ready for both companionship and light-hearted antics. If you believe you can offer this loving pair the peaceful and warm forever home they deserve, don’t hesitate to reach out! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes typically thrive in homes where they can be close to their family, whether that’s an apartment or a house. They appreciate cozy spaces and lots of attention from their owners.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Chihuahuas do not require large amounts of outdoor space and can do well with a small, secure yard or regular walks. They enjoy playtime outdoors but are just as happy indoors as long as they get daily exercise.
